G5-03 Pro Air PAPR Welding Helmet
The G5-03 is the newest addition to the Speedglas family. The G5-03 is the next generational move forward from the G5-01, and was developed with extensive feedback from welders.

Variable Color Auto Darkening Lens:
The ADF in the G5-03VC has the unique feature of being able to change it's coloring. Some helmets have a green tinge, some a blue tinge, others an orange tinge. With the variable color technology, you can choose the filter color in the dark state. This way no matter which work environment you are in, or what type of job you are doing, you can select the color style that is best suited to your needs. This ADF goes up to shade level DIN 14, which is great if you ever need to weld at high amperages. While in the light state, the lens is at shade level 2.5, which makes initiating an arc simple.
Tack Welding Mode:
The ADF in the G5-03TW has been optimized to reduce eye strain while tack welding. Tack welding mode uses an intermediate shade 5 light state to help minimize eye strain during tack welding applications. If an arc is not struck within 2 seconds, the welding filter will switch back to the normal light state of shade 2.5.
Tap to Grind:
Tap on the side of the welding helmet, with or without a glove, to easily switch between grind/cut mode and weld mode. The tap function is robust and intuitive, and can be inactivated whenever needed by simply pressing the ADF buttons.
Controllable Air Flow:
With a series of vents that have controls on the outside of the helmet, air flow can be directed in an infinite variety of ways. This ensures no matter what position you are in you will get air flow where you want it. The right side control directs air flow to your face, your visor, or a combination of both. The left side control adjust the amount of air coming from the top outlet vs. the two side outlets.
Wide Range of Accessories and Add-Ons:
The G5-03 can be made custom to your needs. There is a wide range of fabric, leather, and even high-viz add-ons that attach directly to this helmet to provide protection when you need it, and are quickly removable when it's not required. There is no other helmet that has this many custom accessories available.
3M Adflo Fresh Air PAPR:
The 3M Adflo blower included with this product is famous for it's rugged design, and exceptional air filtration. Patented design allows for stacking of multiple filters to guarantee the highest level of protection, even when working with chemicals.
Standardized Lenses and Filters
The G5-03 takes the same outer lenses as the old 9100 series welding helmets, and the same air filters as the older generation of Adflo blower units. This means the helmet is fully compatible with the lenses and filters supplied at your work.
