Trailing Shield 3" Flat

When welding with exotic metals such as Titanium or Inconel a secondary inert gas applicator is necessary to protect the cooling bead and heat-affected zone. Trailing shields and purge cups prevent oxidation and increase weld quality.

Use this flat trailing shield with plate and other flat surfaces.
