Ohmic Contact Rings are used to locate the surface of your workpiece before you begin cutting. The ohmic contact ring attaches directly onto the mechanized cartridge, connecting via electrical wire to THSs (torch height controls) that support the use of ohmic contact (the electrical connection made between the torch and the workpiece).
