We all know that wearing a respirator isn't the best, but 3M has done their best job at improving upon the issues. The secure click style respirator has a speaking diaphragm, which allows you to be understood without removing your respirator. The improved flexible silicone around the nose causes less irritation while still providing a good seal. The filters themselves are very quick and easy to swap out. For bonus points, it's very satisfying to "click" a new respirator cartridge in which makes employees more likely to switch filters for the job at hand.

The layout was designed with welders in mind. The filters angle back and away from the welding hood which helps accommodate the helmet. 

The 3M™ Secure Click™ Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator with Speaking Diaphragm utilizes the 3M™ Secure Click™ Connection, replacing the commonly-used round bayonet connector. This results in a quick, simple cartridge/filter connection that functions like a seat belt. Simply align the connections and push until you hear a 'click' and feel confident that filters and cartridges are installed properly. For improved peace-of-mind, simply use the easy, one-touch user seal check to help ensure a proper fit.
