Our origin story
Weldready was founded in 2020 after Kevin experienced how difficult it was for small businesses and hobbyists to source everyday welding supplies without facing unreturned calls, backorders and inflated prices by the large international corporations dominating the space.
During covid’s lockdowns and layoffs, Kevin shifted gears from engineering to e-commerce, combining his technical knowledge of the manufacturing industry with his goal of making industrial supplies more accessible to consumers and businesses of all sizes.
When he’s not running Weldready, Kevin is a cyclist, a hiker with a love of the mountains, and most importantly a proud dad. The same focus and dedication to family and fitness carries into how Weldready serves its customers every day.
