Try before you buy

I have the CLT helmet, and bought a Petzl hard hat because there is no brim. I had to disassemble the adapter and used zip ties to make this work. The CLT design means you need precise clearance of your hard hat. There is another optrel adapter design that might work better. Save yourself the trouble and buy the helix.
