Figuring out how to connect a TIG torch to your machine can be challenging. Fortunately, this is an every day experience for us. Message us through the site, or email sales@weld-ready.ca for help getting set up.
External Gas:
The image below shows how this adapter works with an external gas source. The black gas line will most likely go in to the front of your machine, but it could also be going directly to your argon regulator.
If the gas port on the front of your machine is not threaded, but instead has a quick connect slot, you will need to purchase a QDGAP quick disconnect. This is the configuration for most everlast welders.
Gas Through:
The image below shows how gas flows in a "gas-through" configuration. Gas goes through the adapter in one seamless transition. This is especially common on Lincoln machines.
Dinse 25 Versus Dinse 35:
The simplest explanation of whether you have a 25 or 35 connection is simply the size. just measure the diameter of the circle. If it's about 3/8", you have a dinse 25. If it's about 1/2", you have a dinse 35.
