Cougartron CGT-350 Electrochemical Weld Cleaning Solution

CGT-350 is a mild but effective fluid for stainless steel weld cleaning and passivation.

CGT-350 can be used on light and dark TIG and only light MIG welds.

Thanks to its specific chemical non-hazardous formula, CGT-350 can be transported by air.

Note: CGT-350 is not suitable for electropolishing – This activity requires the use of our  WELC3129 – CGT-550 Weld Cleaning and Polishing fluid

Use and application of weld cleaning and neutralizing fluids during weld cleaning process:

1. Dip the weld cleaning brush into the weld cleaning fluid
2. Clean the weld with a circular motion until the desired result
3. Wipe away any excess fluid residue from the treated surface
4. Apply neutralizing fluid on the cleaned area
5. Wipe away with a clean cloth

Important: Weld cleaning brush needs to be wet at all times for optimal results. Therefore, dip the brush frequently into the weld cleaning fluid during the cleaning or electropolishing process.
