The Ruffian EMP 270G is ESAB’s next-generation engine-driven welder/generator, combining robust multi-process welding with powerful auxiliary power. With a 23.5 HP Kohler gasoline engine, it provides up to 270 A output for stick, MIG, TIG, flux-cored, or gouging, and delivers up to 11 kW of generator power via its 120 V and 240 V outlets.

Its advanced inverter controls and a large, color TFT display make it easy to select welding parameters while clearly monitoring engine and parts-life status. It's never been more obvious and in-your-face whether or not you need to change your oil or air filter!

This is the first engine driven welder to include advanced synergic controls that really take the guess work out of your settings. Tell the machine whether you are using basic, rutile, or cellulosic rods, and it will adjust parameters automatically to ensure you get an easy ignition/re-ignition.

This unit uses the same Kohler Command Pro engine found on blue and red welders, adds a ton of cool features and functions into one simple to use package, and charges a more fair price. The unit is assembled in Texas, with stock of both parts and complete packages in Mississauga Canada. The Ruffian 270 includes a 3 year warranty on both the Kohler Engine and the ESAB welding module components. No matter what, you are covered!
