WeldReady Slim Auto Darkening Filter 2x4 for Pipeliner Welding Helmet

Ok ive been using the auto dark welding lense for about two weeks now and it has an issue... About every 20th weld or so it glitches out and the auto dark starts flashing on and off right in the middle of my weld and i have to stop flip open my lid and press the shade button twice to reset it then it works fine again for about 20 welds then it does it again. Its weird but its annoying because i have to stop and it fucks up my weld everytime. At first i thought ok maybe its only a one time thing but no it doesnt fairly consistentantly every 20th weld or so.

Got a couple months of use out of this lens and unfortunately it’ll be going on the shelf as back up. Right of the bat I noticed that the lens could not maintain the dark state while TIG welding. After reaching out to sales department I was suggested to change the batteries because the ones it comes with a cheap junk. After getting new batteries put in, everything seemed fine until the lens started to glitch, it would go dark and stay dark, and even if it went back to bright state it would not darken properly again unless I took out the batteries and put them back in again. And that would happen multiple times a day until I had enough and went back to my old lens.

This lens has potential. The colour and clarity are great, adjustments work properly but its unreliable. Not sure if mine was just defective but that was my experience with this lens.
