Flux Coated Bronze Rods for Brazing

Rods for GTAW and GMAW welding composed of a blend of copper, silicon, and zinc. The blend is similar to silicon bronze tig rod, only with the addition of a flux coating on the outside that prevents oxidation and contamination.

Primarily used for welding copper and copper alloys such as bronze and brass. Also used for welding steel to copper alloys and other dissimilar metal applications.

While the flux coating does help to improve a welds strength and corrosion resistance, the flux must be removed post weld as it will cause corrosion if left on the surface.
