This is the highest quality multi-purpose tungsten available. Originally designed for robotic applications, this tungsten will have a stable arc on every alloy out there. If you want to own just one tungsten, this is it.

TRI-MIX tungsten electrode (AWS classification EWG) combines three non-radioactive rare earth materials (La2O3, Y2O3, CeO2) into one tungsten. Extensive testing has resulted in the development of an optimum 
composition blend for a high performing tungsten electrode. Performance features include: Easy arc 
starting and re-ignition, high arc pressure, very good arc stability, excellent endurance. Suitable for carbon steel, stainless steel, copper and aluminum. AC or DC applications. 

Electrodes are 7" (175mm) in length and packaged 10 rods per box. All tungstens have colour coded tips for easy identification, and meet AWSA5.12 specifications. Electrodes are supplied with a smooth, round, bright centerless ground finish.
