For your toughest power needs, the Westinghouse WGen12000DF Dual Fuel Portable Generator is an ultra duty generator engineered for strength. With 15,000 peak watts and 12,000 running watts, the WGen12000DF is built with a brawny 713cc V-Twin OHV Westinghouse Engine to yield up to 11 hours of run time on a 10.5 gallon (40 L) gas tank and operates on either gasoline or propane. It features Push-Button Electric Start, making starting the WGen12000DF effortless while the remote start key fob offers added ease from a distance. Transfer Switch Ready L14-30R and larger 14-50R outlets have the muscle to power all your major appliances like your air conditioner, refrigerator, and sump pump as well as lights or entertainment centers at the same time with a single cord hookup.

I received my Westinghouse generator ordered from you "WeldReady" and everything was very fast (2 day delivery). After the visit of my electrician for the installation of my transfer switch, I connected everything and started my generator, Everything was wonderful. Hot water tank 60g 4500W, 12000btu heat pump, kitchen light, tv, and computer, all worked like a charm with the low THD -5%. I'm ready for the next storm and next power outage. We indicate in both English and French that generators do not ship for free on the collection page, the product page, and then again at check out.

The Westinghouse 12,000 weighs close to 400 pounds and ships on a skid. As such, it can be challenging to coordinate a shipment to a residential location that can not accommodate a 53 foot 18 wheeled freight truck backing up, and does not have a fork lift to unload the skid.

We have become experts at coordinating commercial shipment to residential locations, it is something we do every day. I'm glad we were able to help you get backup power when you needed it.

Both sales contacts @ Weldready were friendly and knowledgeable about the product. All the reviews I've read indicate this is a quality unit. I have tested it by running 3 saws at the same time and it handles the load easily. Plan to use it for home backup and expect it will run the whole house. I was specifically looking for a unit with low THD so as not to damage electronic equipment and would run on propane. This is a perfect fit.
I arranged to pick up the unit at the warehouse to save shipping and it was flawless.

Delivered the next day when I was told it could take up to 5 days. I waited for the generator panel to be installed and tested with the generator before responding to this review. It is an amazingly powerful generator. Easy to use, starts like a charm and provides the necessary power for my well, freezers, water tank, lights, microwave, etc. I know I may have to manage the breaker panel in some instances but it looks and works very fine. Funny to say but I can't wait for the next power outage! Thanks to Weldready for their great service as they also answered all the questions I had prior to proceed with the purchase.
I am a very satisfied customer and recommend them. These days it is hard to find that kind of service!
